I just opened Vivaldi, for the first time since installing VS 5.53d beta, just a few hours ago.

Under the ‘Action’ column there is this: Security Posture

Never seen that before, and haven’t a clue as to what it means.

My posts aren’t showing if I quote at all anymore.

Thanks for testing, VecchioScarpone.  So you have to allow it all over again next time you open TOR?

    @Tarnak,

If you go to Settings > Basic and click the “i” icon next to Security Posture you will see the attached screenshot.

OK, well at least it’s not just me.  😉  I have sent Dan my logs so hopefully he’ll be able to get it sorted.

Cheers, and stay cool and away from those fires.

I missed that. And here I thought it was because I was clicking Submit too quickly…

Dan, I have 6 unsafe files showing on WLC. I know this is from my Steam Game that has errors. I do not know whether to whitelist these to safe or not. Running VS 5.5.3d. I will send you the Logs.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I am sure it is safe to whitelist… I have problems with Steam games as well.  It is odd because obviously a lot of users install games from steam so I am not sure why WLC has an issue with them.

Hey guys, here is 5.53e.  The Tor issues is fixed, and this bug might have caused a few other unnecessary blocks on unique items, but either way it should be fixed now.  Also, the small slowdown bug is fixed, which might fix the FF open all tabs issue as well, if not, please let me know.

As far as Edge and Brave goes, I have the process names msedge and brave hardwired in, although there is not currently an option to enable or disable the brave web app.  The Edge web app option should work for both the old and new Edge.  These are working for me, but I am guessing that if these are  not working for other people, then the process name must be different… because really all I have to do is enter the correct process name and it works.

You probably do not have to perform a clean install or reset the whitelist, but if it does not work as expected then I would try that first.

Other than that I think we are almost good to go… thank you guys, please let me know if you find anything!

Yes Dan, the TOR bug does appear to be resolved.  Thanks!

    Installed over 5.53d without issue.

Brave has been covered here for the last several betas, so I don’t understand why some have had problems, unless it has been installed in a non-default location.

Funny though how posts in this thread have been re-ordered.  😀

Same here. No issues with Brave either, never had.

BTW the forums was down for the best part of the day. The webpage was not refreshing  stuck to several hours ago.

@Dan The FF “open all in tabs” now is a lot faster than all the other 5.5X for me. To lazy to get a stopwatch to compare it with 5.04 but it seems ok. When i can count 21,22,23,24 in my head before my links open then I don’t need a watch 😀

So far VS 5.53E makes FF a lot better. Thanks
